Julia is a speech pathologist who works in private practice, as a Witness Intermediary for the Dept of Justice and at Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services in Hobart, Tasmania. As a clinician, Julia has worked across education, disability and mental health services in Victoria and Tasmania giving her a unique perspective. She is passionate about supporting children and adolscents to develop their social communication needs. Her areas of interest include Autism Spectrum Disorder, social cognition, speech and language disorders, mental health, trauma, and supporting trans and gender diverse children. Julia believes that supporting families is central to supporting children and adolescents.
