Concurrent Session: Tracking Developmental Language Disorder Across the Lifespan

Sam is a speech pathologist, clinical educator, and teaching and research academic. He is particularly passionate about understanding the nature of and improving outcomes for children and young people with Developmental Language Disorder (DLD). He has extensive clinical experience with early school-aged children with DLD and has worked alongside mainstream educators to implement best practice in classroom support for these children. He has contributed to evidence-based practice professional learning initiatives for Speech Pathology Australia and regularly provides consultation on supports for language and literacy difficulties associated with DLD in the public and private sectors.
